THE FOUNDERS STORY
At Polo Valley, our founders’ story is what drives our passion for providing a unique and accessible polo experience. Our founder’s interest in the sport started at a young age, during family trips to Sotogrande. But with limited resources and knowledge, he quickly realized the challenges of learning and improving in the sport, especially as an outsider.
Determined to create a solution, he traveled to Argentina to gain first-hand knowledge from the experts and create a unique and innovative concept. The result was Polo Valley, a premier polo facility designed to make the sport more accessible to everyone.

ABOUT SOTOGRANDE
Sotogrande is one of the most exclusive polo destinations in the world, situated in the province of Cadiz, Andalucía.
Home to world renowned polo clubs, Sotogrande hosts some of the most prestigious international polo tournaments, attracting historic players including Adolfo Cambiaso and the next generation of talented players: Poroto Cambiaso and the Castagnola brothers.

A once in a lifetime experience with friends and family at the amazing Polo Valley! Having come here at the start of the week without riding, I must admit I was a little nervous. The whole team here made it super comfortable for me to gain confidence on the horse and to really enjoy my polo. The villa in which we were hosted was amazing with 5 star food provided every meal of the day. I don’t think I’ve eaten so much in a week before! The rooms are exceptionally clean and made fresh every morning with the nice cool AC kept on so it’s not too hot at night. To all the staff and everyone at Polo Valley, I want to say a massive thank you for an unforgettable experience, it’s been truly amazing. I can’t wait to be back next year!

Polo Valley offers an absolutely fantastic once-in-a-lifetime experience for everyone! Whether you have experience with horses or not, this is a must. A friend and I booked a river hack, which was breathtakingly beautiful, the horses were extremely well-behaved. We loved it so much we decided to book again and come back to do the mountain hack. We loved this just as much! The views from the top of the mountains over the valley are beautiful. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful, the polo club itself had a very relaxed and welcoming feel and Kat was absolutely wonderful. We hope to return as soon as possible!! Thank you so much for offering this experience and making our holiday!

I was lucky enough to spend 8 amazing weeks at Polo Valley, and even then, this still wasn’t enough time. Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced polo player looking to improve your game, they offer a wide range of options to a high standard, from polo-style riding lessons and stick and ball sessions, to chukkas and mountain or river hacks. The pros, were incredible and great at catering to your individual level, whilst still pushing you out of your comfort zone. The grounds are beautiful and very well-maintained, and the horses very well cared for. There is a special vibe about the place, and it quickly becomes apparent how much love, effort and dedication are put in by the team. I cannot recommend Polo Valley enough – look forward to returning!
