Polo Valley Revitalises Iron Bridge for the 2026 Season

Polo Valley is a leading equestrian and polo destination based in Sotogrande, Spain, offering training programmes, tournaments, lifestyle experiences, and horse care services. Known for its commitment to excellence, community, and accessibility, Polo Valley continues to redefine the modern polo experience.

Polo Valley has recently announced the revitalisation of Iron Bridge, an established polo estate with a rich sporting heritage, which will become a key venue for the 2026 season.

With three outstanding polo fields and a long-standing history in the sport, Iron Bridge is being brought back to life under the Polo Valley vision, combining tradition with a renewed focus on quality, organisation, and player experience.

The estate will offer access to world-class playing grounds, training tracks, and regular stick & ball and practice sessions, creating an environment where players can develop, compete, and enjoy polo at a higher level.

More than a polo venue, Iron Bridge reflects Polo Valley’s broader philosophy: building a community around the sport, where members can ride, train, and spend meaningful time with their horses both on and off the field.

A curated calendar of tournaments, training programmes, and social events will position Iron Bridge as a key polo destination in southern Spain, attracting both national and international players throughout the season.

The revitalisation also opens the doors to a higher level of competitive polo, with dedicated tournament facilities designed to elevate the standard of play and offer new opportunities for progression.

Iron Bridge forms part of Polo Valley’s growing presence in the region, alongside Polo Valley Casares and The Hills by Polo Valley, its upcoming luxury polo lifestyle development in Sotogrande overlooking the Mediterranean.

Christian Byrne, Founder & CEO of Polo Valley, commented:

“Iron Bridge has always had a special place within the polo landscape. My own journey in polo began over 20 years ago in Santa Maria, so returning to this environment feels particularly meaningful. Our goal is to honour that heritage while bringing a new level of energy, structure, and international community to the estate. We see this as a natural evolution of Polo Valley and an exciting step forward for polo in the region.”

Membership for the 2026 season is now open, offering access to facilities, playing opportunities, and an international network of players and members.

Polo Valley has also unveiled its 2026 tournament calendar, bringing a full season of competitive polo to the estate.
