Polo Valley is delighted to announce its 2026 Summer Tournament Calendar, taking place at Iron Bridge, Santa María Polo Club, one of the most iconic polo venues in Sotogrande.

Bringing together players from around the world, the season promises four weeks of competitive polo, exceptional hospitality, and the distinctive community atmosphere that has become synonymous with the Polo Valley experience.

Hosted across three outstanding polo fields, the tournaments have been designed for players looking to compete at a high level while enjoying everything that makes summer in Sotogrande one of the highlights of the international polo calendar.

2026 Summer Tournament Dates

This summer’s tournament calendar includes four prestigious competitions:

The Sunset Cup

15–19 July 2026

The summer season begins with The Sunset Cup, welcoming players for five days of competitive polo, social events, and unforgettable evenings at Iron Bridge.

The Founder’s Cup

22–26 July 2026

The Founder’s Cup celebrates the spirit of Polo Valley with five days of exceptional polo, culminating in finals, prize giving, and celebrations shared with players, families, and guests.

The Masters Cup

5–9 August 2026

One of the flagship tournaments of the Polo Valley calendar, The Masters Cup showcases competitive polo in one of the finest settings in southern Spain.

The Legacy Cup

The Legacy Cup brings together teams from across the international polo community for another exciting week of high-quality competition.

Every Polo Valley tournament has been designed to offer far more than competitive polo.

Beginning with a Welcome Reception and Team Draw on Wednesday evening, players immediately become part of the Polo Valley community before competition starts on Thursday. Over four days, teams compete in a round-robin format before Sunday’s Subsidiary Final, Tournament Final, Prize Giving Ceremony, and traditional Asado lunch, creating an atmosphere that extends well beyond the polo field.

Throughout the week, players enjoy a unique combination of:

  • High-level competitive polo
  • Three exceptional polo fields
  • Professional tournament organisation
  • International players and teams
  • Hospitality and social events
  • Prize giving celebrations
  • The distinctive Polo Valley lifestyle

It is this balance of competition, hospitality, and community that has made Polo Valley tournaments one of the most anticipated additions to the Sotogrande polo calendar.

Located within the historic Iron Bridge Polo Club, Polo Valley writes a new chapter for polo in Sotogrande.

With three world-class polo fields, extensive stabling, training facilities, and dedicated tournament infrastructure, Iron Bridge provides an exceptional environment for both players and spectators.
